People in suits, heels, construction hats, aprons, and more all race to line outside trucks like they're a children again, but it isn't the ice cream man. Food trucks have won over our hearts through our stomachs. However, there is a new vehicle on the road and they are not selling anything you would put in your tummy; they're selling what you'd put on your body.
Fashion trucks, a trend that is known to Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco are cruising around and heading for your hometown. Their locations spread by word of tweeting; redefining what it means to be a "follower". Retailers are finding it to be a low cost way of starting a business while being apart of a trend that has a thirst for more. It is any easy, independent way, to test out many different neighborhoods and meet a range of customers. The costs are estimated at a fourth, and some retail trucks even a half, of the cost for a permanent stone and concrete store.
As the trucks flock to cities unaware of this easy buying atmosphere, such as San Diego, people can't help but take a gander at what's in side. The trucks, like stores, vary with what products they sell. Trucks have been spotted with women's and men's apparel, women's and men's accessories, dog treats, and dog accessories. The consumers are more than eager to accept this trend and take advantage of how close their favorite shop can get to their home.
